Helping the SD Seals & LV Desert Dogs find their most valuable fans

The mission: The San Diego Seals and Las Vegas Desert Dogs both compete in the National Lacrosse League. The two teams were aiming to increase ticket sales for both Season and Single-game buyers by optimizing their marketing efforts and prioritizing sales leads, and my opportunity was to turn their various data sets into a well-connected, insightful story. 

How I did it: I worked with the teams to connect and activate multiple disparate data sets using both 3rd party and custom-built ETL components. I built a data warehouse tying together customer, ticketing, and marketing data, and displayed these in a set of dashboards. I used this united data ecosystem to define an organization-wide customer lifetime value (LTV) model and build a Lead Scoring model to prioritize candidates for their sales team to pursue.
